BIOGRAPHY
NAME: Eduardo Estrada Palomo
BORN: on 13, May 1962 in mexico City, Mexico.
EDUCATION: Design at UNAM (1 year), acting at the
"Andres Soler" institute and at
Televisa's centre.
FAMILY: He's the second child of Jesus Estrada
and Julia Palomo.
He has an older brother, Jesus and a younger
sister, Susana. His
parents divorced when he was little. On 26-11-94,
he got married
to Carina Ricco. they have 2 children, Fiona
Alexa (born on
12-10-98) and Luca (born on 15-10-00)
Eduardo Palomo realised he wanted to become
an actor at a very young age. At 13, he starts
working in the theatre. His first role was
in a comedy, "Los diez mandamientos".
A year later, he works in a children's play,
"Mi dulce sueno". He abandons his
university studies in design to study acting
at Televisa's centre. His career sets off
with small parts in independent films of
the "New Mexican Cinema" like "Rojo
Amanecer", "Gertrudis Bocanegra"
and "El Extensionista" and secondary
parts in Televisa's telenovelas like "Tal
como somos" and "La casa al final
de la calle". Meanwhile he continues
working in the theatre and in 1993 he produces,
directs and stars in his own play, "Una
pareja con angel" with great success.That's
the year his career sets off for good as
he is offered the leading part in the third
TV version of a classicnovel, "Corazon
Salvaje" next to Edith Gonzalez. The
telenovela is extremely successful. It is
sold to TV stations all over the world. On
30, November of the same year he releases
his first (and so far only) music album "Mover
el tiempo" which becomes a big hit.
In 1994 he starts a tour to promote it. His
next telenovela, "Morir dos veces",
where he stars alongside his wife, Carina
Ricco, is not successful. He moves to Los
Angeles and dedicates himself to the study
of Scientology.he returns to Mexico in 1997
to star in the telenovela, "Huracan"
with Angelica Rivera. The next 2 years are
dedicated to paternity as he becomes the
happy father of Fiona Alexa. 2000 was a busy
year for him as he returned to films as a
transvestite in "Cronica de un desayuno",
a controversial Mexican production and to
telenovelas as the Indian Alejandro in "Ramona".
Back to the spotlight, Eduardo has just finished
shooting a new film, "Al rescate de
la Santisima Trinidad" next to Rebeca
Jones.
